Autocollimator model AC50 is used for aligning optical components such as mirrors, laser rods and Q-switches on a solid state laser rail. The optical elements on the laser rail reflect and appear as bright images in the autocollimator. When all the reflecting images are super-imposed on each other, the optical rail is aligned. The AC50 autocollimator is primarily designed for use on Plano-parallel reflective surfaces.
